Hello everybody! We've submitted our financial documents and the DS-260 is completed. We've also uploaded all civil documents except the PCC.

My husband had an appointment for 04/20 which got rescheduled to 05/05 because India extended its lockdown.

My question is, can we submit our Civil Documents and select PCC not available and add an explanation about getting it to the interview, and if the 05/05 appointment does end up happening, upload it as an additional document then? I know it will push our review date, but in case the lockdown extends even further, at least we'll have our review date as today. Any suggestions?

Just wait for the Police certificate there's a reason its required and its listed. They wont review your case if your missing anything.

Well, everything would be submitted with PCC selected as 'not available' with an explanation, so they might give us a checklist when they review it, we can't be sure.

My main question was whether it's acceptable to upload a document under the additional documents section after declaring it as not available when it was first submitted...

With the lockdown extended for the 3rd time, we've decided on going ahead and submitting our documents with PCC marked 'not available' and explaining why (along with mentioning that it will be presented at the time of the consular interview)
