After panicked crowds swarm Denver liquor stores and dispensaries, mayor reverses order to close both

   People have strange priorities. There were also tons of people out in groups at lakes and in parks this past weekend, which also led to the new restrictions.

 

  If everyone would just stay home, we would be doing this for 2 or 3 weeks and then we would be on the down side. Every jackass that is out screwing around for no good reason is going to end up causing these measures to be stricter and to last longer. People are making this situation worse by their own actions.

Surely the BIG news was that the Dispensaries have been given a pass and can continue to operate.

It was in my news feed! I can't control that. Okay I can but I haven't gone into Settings. Maybe it was the liquor store reference?

 

Glad liquor stores and dispensaries are considered essential out here.

Not sure the concern was ever with Medical, that would be the same as closing Pharmacies.

 

Denver and Boulder are under stay at home.

 

If they wanted to close the Dispensaries where I am they would have needed to send in the National Guard.

Very much so, lots of Breweries and where I am we have no Pharmacy but maybe 8? pot shops.

I'm all set for alcohol at the moment. I try to stay away from cannabis because I have someone in the household who will need to adjust status at some point.

Florida governor just announced that anyone flying into the state from NY must self-isolate for 14 days.

We also have booze delivery in 30 minutes or less. The mark up is crazy but it's good for when you're lazy, sick or tipsy.

   Yeah, I just saw the end of the press conference where they were originally exempting medical marijuana facilities.

 

   It is kind of strange, we live north of Denver so no forced restrictions yet, but probably on the way. I still have to go into Denver for work though. I already see so few cars out on the highway compared to before. It was like a Sunday drive today.
