Ok. So confused.  Joint sponsor makes enough over poverty guidelines through Social Security Retirement Benefits.  Line 7 in part 6 shows current individual income as $34,000.  However line 24.a shows 14,000 (AGI) because that I guess is what is taxable with Social Security?  I got these numbers off the tax return transcript.  Of course I am sending rewards letter and 1099 showing actual income received, but is this going to confuse USCIS?  Or do they realize that the agi is NOT what the sponsor actually receives as income?

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Please Please somebody help us!  And sorry if I didn't explain correctly but we are beyond confused!

Every case might be looked differently but in my case even though my total income was way above poverty guidelines I still got a RFE for joint sponsor as my AGI # was lower d/t disability income not being taxed. I had more than enough assets to cover the deficits but they still sent the RFE. I had sent every document to prove my total income but at the end had to come up with a joint sponsor ..
