Ok , its been a month since i sent my response to the RFE , uscis emailed me change of online statis today , it changed from we recieved your RFE documents to Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS etc..... so what does that mean? Does it mean they pulled my file and currently working on it ? Generally speaking how long does it take to get an answer at this stage? Anyone been in this situation before?

It's been like 2 months since I sent my response and I have yet to get any additional updates. My status still shows that an RFE was sent out even though when I reached out to the field office they're saying it's being reviewed by an officer as of last week. Seems different field offices have different timelines when processing RFE's and so I'll just wait until 120 days have elapsed since interview and I'll start to look into filing a writ. Keep me posted on any updates from your end since it seems that your field office actually bothers to update the online status unlike mine.

Received an email from USCIS this morning saying an action was taken on my case. I checked my online status and it's now showing that my application has been approved and I have been placed in line for oath ceremony. After 3 months of radio silence, I'm glad that this is finally over and I can just wait out for the oath once the offices are open.

I interviewed at the chicago office a few days ago. After the interview the officer gave me a letter stating additional documentation is needed for approval. I received the RFE yesterday (basically asks for federal and state tax transcripts). I’m planning to mail all the documents by the end of next week. Any idea how long it would take to get an outcome ?
