I didn't submit online. I mailed everything in to the Dallas address (for Kentucky filers) including the payment because that's what the checklist said to do. I have confirmation from the post office that it arrived in Dallas, but have not received an email yet that they've started on it. Anyone else send by mail? Anyone know how long the confirmation email takes?

I hope this is good news!

Some 2019 filers got transferred then got approved within a few weeks. I think we'll have to wait longer though if we are transferred too.

How did you find out ? I'd like to know about our petition too :), on our case status online, the message remains the same.

I hope it is good news too! Means we would have a much shorter waiting time for NOA2🙃. Basically would cut our wait time in half!

Hi from the Netherlands.

We filed the i130 online the 19th of February and got Nebraska, too.

I have found this article: https://www.boundless.com/blog/green-card-processing-time/.

Although it's not an official source, it seems that some cases can be transferred from Nebraska.

Does anyone have any thoughts or heard anything about how the coronavirus mess might affect timelines?

In terms of USCIS and NVC I heard it should be mostly unaffected since they can work from home easily

Hello,

Adding myself to this list.

My situation is someone unusual.  My wife arrived here on Feb 2019 on a K1 visa.  That visa took 8 months to get approved.  We married in April 2019, but my wife had to return to Ukraine due to family emergency, before we could do the AOS and AP.

I should have applied for I-130 in June, but I messed up by trying to see if we could get a faster path to a greencard by some other method.  In the end, I submitted our I-130 (paper) at the end of January and got our NOA on Feb 6.

The time wasn't all wasted - it gave me more proof of bona fide relationship to gather and submit.

Our service center is Texas.  Yay?

Make sure to contact USCIS to double check your service centre. Our receipt notice said Nebraska and then in the end of February with all the transfers, our account updated and we found out we were "transferred" to Potomac. We were told it was not a transfer and that by default the receipt notice said Nebraska until it got routed to the appropriate centre. So we are in Potomac and not Nebraska.  From what they said, all IOE's get routed to Nebraska first and then they go to their respected service centre. Some receipt notices reflect the update and others do not.

Is there any way to know which service center is managing our application using Emma on the USCIS website?

You go on Emma and ask to speak with a representative. From there you can ask about your service centre.

Hi guys,

We filed online on February 3rd and our NOA1 stated that we received Texas as our service centre.

We just found out today that we were transferred to Nebraska service centre on February 23rd and we are a little confused - has anyone heard this happen to anyone else?
