My partner and I went to get our passport photos taken and the person doing it said that the background has been coming out bright. It came out bright in ours I’m wondering if this would be an issue and if we should do it again somewhere else? I can upload it if you want to see how bright it is.

Hard to say what that means, the background is typically white, so yes, it would be "bright".

What matters more is your face, not the background.

There are enough causes for worry in this process where if you have any doubt just spend $10 to get another copy
