Naturally, this will induce people to pick a "side", but there's really no sides to pick on this because it has little to do with how its portrayed.

First, lets look at the cancel cancer culture imitating idiot-in-question's tweet and 4 images:

Two of those images on the left can be thrown out right away because they're not evidence of anything, they're just headlines.

The top right image isn't Mahomes defending Zimmerman, he's saying no one knows what actually happened, which is true with the evidence presented, and says a crime still could've occurred.. which was also true (at that time). This is just Mahomes being logical, not even taking a stance on supporting anyone.

The bottom right tweet is the dumbest. This tweet was from December 27, 2011. Not only does this make Mahomes 16 (and it's quite common for teens to troll on social media at this age), but far more importantly, the Trayvon-Zimmerman incident happened February 26, 2012... two months after that tweet. Clearly Mahomes was not talking about the Zimmerman situation before it happened. That tweet obviously has nothing to do with the incident in question.

Furthermore, there's a litany of tweets from Mahomes talking unfavorably about the outcome, and hint, it's not in favor of Zimmerman:

tl;dr-> It's a troll. Here's another of their tweets (which I found funny):

And FOX News.. lol...

Quote

The 2011 tweets surfaced prior to the AFC Championship game between the Chiefs and the Tennessee Titans and appeared to show Mahomes and his former high school football teammate talking back-and-forth about the case and the trial.

The quarterback was initially being hit on Twitter for his alleged support of Zimmerman, who was cleared of all charges in the 2013 shooting of the unarmed black teenager.

Might want to fire the person writing this.

People have all this info at their disposal and they seem dumber than ever.

This is why social media isn't real life, and everything said there should be taken with a grain of salt.

Still glad I never did anything like twitter or Facebook. You give up all your personal information to a company that makes money by selling it to spammers, and in return you get people going back and dragging up old posts out of context to make you look like a jerk. The wonders of technology.
