Good day, my priority date may become current mid this year and it is a very good news for me. The thing is there is a problem in renewing my passport due to my middle name and I needed to delete it and get a new passport again...

For now the correction of my name is still on process and may take some few months and a month or two preparation for my new passport..

My question is... When my priority became current is it ok to schedule my interview a bit later after I completed my requirements and paperworks that needed during the interview?...for example: priority date become current on june or july this year... is it ok to schedule my interview by september or october just in time to complete all my required documents?..

I hope anyone can help me.

Thank you for your time 🙂

The embassy sends available dates to NVC and you are then given Date. You do not schedule your own interview. That being said, if you get a date before your passport is returned you'll have to request a new date since you need your passport at interview. That date could possibly be months later.
