Hi all, I have just received a Interview Cancellation Notice today (1/17). There is no reschedule date mentioned. I am actually received the interview notice 4 days ago on 1/13 and have the intv date on 2/12. Not sure what happened or what circumstances but anyone experience this before?

I've heard about this happening before. It does not mean you were denied in any way. Sometimes appointments get cancelled and rescheduled due to the office being closed on that day, or the immigration officer can't make it on that day for whatever reason..etc

Expect a letter soon for rescheduling. I'd advice to contact USCIS over the phone.

If you don't receive a rescheduling letter soon, and your interview day comes, I'd advise to show up for the interview with all notices received from USCIS, even though it had been cancelled. I've heard of a similar story, but the couple never got a follow up letter, and didn't show up for their interview, and got denied.

Good luck

Today I received the online notice that my wife's I-485 interview was cancelled, yet we did not even have an interview date??  She is here  on a K-1 visa and she had Biometrics done November 22. A week or 2 after her case status had been updated stating they had received the biometrics.  Since then no further updates or mail notices came until now showing the Interview being cancelled.  I immediately called USCIS contact center and was told that this can happen if the field office (which conducts the interviews) has not received the necessary I-485 documents and a certain amount of time has passed, creating an automated 'cancellation' on the case.  I was told to wait another month to see if the interview gets scheduled and the case status gets correctly updated.

Anyone else experience this?
