How hard was it to find a job for a spouse still learning English?

Wife just had her first job interview today. She thinks it went well, but she still worries that her English is not good enough, although she studies every day and has gotten to the point of being able to have conversations with people well enough, with just a few issues with vocabulary

EAD/AP Approval 12/17/2019

EAD Card has been mailed 12/20/2019

EAD/AP Approval letters received 12/23/2019

EAD/AP Combo Card in hand 12/26/2019

AoS Approved during interview 01/06/2020

Green Card is being produced update 01/06/2020

Green Card Mailed 01/08/2020

Green Card arrived in the mail 01/11/2020

06/05/2019    EAD APPROVAL!!!!!!!!!!  06/06/2019    AP Approval

06/13/2019    Combo Card Received in Mail

06/19/2019    Social Security Card received in mail

10/07/2019     Received interview date letter for 11/7/19

11/07/2019     AOS Interview-Norfolk

11/10/2019     APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

11/14/2019     Case status update that card is in mail ❤️ received 11/16

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves from K1, then married, withdrew k1, decided to adjust directly and filed I-130 and AOS ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

Just get the non native speaker to interact with English speakers as much as possible. This will help
