At the request of our chap assisting with the claim, I went cap in hand this morning to the Doc, the transplant heptologist. As a result of all the nonsense between different teams, he has got rid of the lot, and he is now the attending.

 

What ends up as the cause of death on the certificate can make all this low balling with the rating nonsense go away. He is the one who signs it as it happens. I was to ask him to please consider making the cause related to the things he is service connected for. I felt a bit odd having to ask, I mean it isn't like this doc isn't a totally stand up guy. 

 

I never got the chance. He read the ratings, and thought it was pretty much nonsense. Of course everything relates to the conditions connected, if he hadn't had the hepC resulting in the transplant in the first place he wouldn't be where he is now. So without having to plead our case, he told me he certainly would do. And he sent our representative an excellent letter stating the time line, which he can take to the  BVA  if they won't see sense.

So that is looking up.

 

Himself is about where you would think. Not even minimally conscious today. Getting the right meds, calm and sleeping. Looking very drawn. Not so long to go now.

 

Thanks to everyone here. Your support means a great deal to me, not having any family in the country, having lost Aud who would be a total rock under the circumstances.

 

I'm glad this doctor is on your side. What we need at times like this is people in our corner who can take some of the weight off our shoulders.

 

Did he get the Hep C from them reusing needles in the army?  I ask because I've had two patients now tell me that same thing.

Ah, yes, they said it happened during the immunizations, so it must have been that device rather than just plain old reusing the needles.

 

I can't believe it didn't occur to anyone that it wasn't sanitary.

Thrilling Thursday report, see man:

 

Lurched downstairs in the morning to discover Mrs. T-B. intending to do laundry, no no no NO NO man.

We forewent mandatory coffee purely to avert the impending disaster, worse than Covid-Many man.

Mrs. T-B. then intended to do a separate load of just her Manyzen-or-so ankle-socks,  man.

 

This set the tone for the day, tense and unproductive (except of course for selling POTSs) man.

Had Zoom caucus with Mini-B.'s teechurs at half-past noon, but they neglected to send out meeting codes man.

Half-hour meeting began Many (2x2x2x2+2+2) minutes late with fewer than half the attendees, waste of time man.

Did get rather nice nap-without-cat in afternoon, zzz we man.

 

Several coronaveerus-afflicted countries are impressed with the POTS factory's scrupulous cleanliness and want to order enough POTSs to replace all contaminated ones domestically, more than happy to oblige them we man.

Our body has absorbed so much soap and disinfectant lately that when we pipi, we clean the toilet, pee man.

Wanted to wish you all a happy Easter, but I don't think it's much appropriate in these circunstances.

So I just wanted to wish you some peace and harmony and of course lots lots of health. Stay safe and try to take a break from everything.

I'm gonna stay at my home instead of going to my parents. I don't know if I'm healthy, so no need to test that on them.

We were supposed to go to my sister and to spend Easter at her home, but that not possible.

Cdneh I'm glad you found some competent people who would take care for your hubby.

It's pretty much dumb vs dumber here. So many ppl out partying, parents ripping off the caution tape so the kids can go play at the playground it's nuts. Little Rock has a curfew but North Little Rock does not and all the riff raff from Little Rock comes over here.
