Leave blank spaces or write 'N/A'?

If I need to fill it out with 'N/A'. Does it have to be every single empty space , for example where it asks for preparer's signature (even though I didn't have a preparer) I should write 'N/A' in that box?

If this is for I-751 form, the instructions for the form are pretty clear cut under the How to Fill Out Form I-751 on Pg 3 of the Instructions PDF file:

If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise directed. If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None,” unless otherwise directed.

Thank you. And yes, it's for I-751. I read the instructions, but it still doesn't say if every single box has to be filled out or, for example, just the the first box of every question that doesn't apply to me. I want to know specifically if I should put 'N/A' or 'none' even where it requires preparer's signature and in questions that have 'if any' in it so that completely EVERYTHING is filled out? From what I have read, some people fill it out with 'N/A' but questions that have '(if any)' leave out blank. I just want to do it the best way possible so that it doesn't confuse anyone.

You are overthinking this. 

 

For the portion of the form that you keep specifying, the Preparer section, you just need to put N/A in the first part where it asks for first and last name. The rest of information will be understood as not being applicable (preparer's address, phone # and such).

I know how these processes can become frustrating with all the guidelines that seem confusing but do not let it get to you so much that you lose focus on the end goal = Getting ROC approved

Im totally lost, they said you should put N/A, but everytime I m trying to pt N/A it is said that "Allows only letters...."

Yeah, I remember something like that happening when we filed out the electronic form.

We covered the Not Applicable sections in our cover letter. 

Got approved without an interview or any RFE's.

Like some have said - Don't obsess or overthink it.

Don't know if it covered us, but at least we felt better about it...smile.
