Help!!!

I've applied for my N400 after 5years with my GC. I have already done the biometric and waiting for my interview to be scheduled. I just had a child a 2 months ago outside the US. What should I do next?

So what are you looking to do? Sponsor the mother and child?

I was wondering if at the interview when they ask me if there is any change, I could update my n400 form. I've heard when I pass the interview and take the oath, my son could also be a USC. Just wondering if it is true.

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

You'll most likely need to sponsor your son for a green card. Once they arrive in the US as a permanent resident, if you are a USC by then, then they automatically become a USC.

The child has to be under 18, a permanent resident and residing with the parent to become a USC at the same time as the parent with the N-400.

Child was born 2 months ago no visa is that fast  and even if they did bring child over on a tourist visa it would not automatically become a GC holder.

I thought OP was the mother which seems to not be the case, agreed does’t apply for father.
