DCF from Canada and expediting is possible

Oh, I still went to Montreal for my interview. He just didn't have to, they gave him the option.Toronto was good because he could sneak in visit with us at the same time but he was already living in Philadelphia so still have the 9 hour drive to get there - maybe thats why? Not sure

Oh you made it seem like you interviewed in Toronto!   Petitioners are no longer allowed into the US consulate in Montreal.  Did they interview your husband in Toronto?

Oh Sorry, no I followed the same path as everyone for interview.  He handed in all our I130 info in Toronto with extra stuff I think. He brought all the original and photocopies of birth certificates for the family, passports, marriage certificate, job offer information. I don't think it was an interview because when he asked when we would hear back they told him they had nothing to do with the process and it was just courtesy for Montreal. So my belief is they just verified originals because he got them back forwarded to Montreal, they gave us the case number MTL. I didn't think petitioners got interviewed though?

They don't normally, but this is different so it was within the realm of possibilities.
