Wrong Eligibility Category for Employment Authorization

They should not have accepted the i765 filed with A6 category.  Are you 100% positive?  Definitely get it changed ASAP

100% positive!I did notice they put the correct category on the NOA 1.But the paperwork I submitted has the wrong category on it.

are you saying that when you receive the NOA, it's "c9" on it while the paperwork you submitted was a6? 
if yes, it's really nice that they make adjustment for you.

@Khufu61 It seems like you got very lucky and they saw the incorrect category and changed it for you!  They didnt have to do this. As explained they couldve rejected the whole packet or part of the packet, so again you were very lucky. Since you already sent a letter asking for the change and it seems it was infact changed even before you sent the letter I think you are going to be fine. Please double check everything you get from them to make sure the correct category is listed as sometimes errors get fixed and then re-appear!
