Hello, I petition for my wife and I got a notice of action from the USCIS with a mistake on it. I am a LPR but in the classification preference they consider me as a US citizen. At first I thought that will be nice in some ways. I thought it will speed up my case but then when i called the immigration office they said actually if i didn't call them my case would take more time than it takes for a LPR. So for folks who find mistake on whatever they get from the office, please notify them asap.

You should get it corrected because it’s wrong, not just because you think it’ll be quicker! Do you really want your relative to take all that time only be to be denied at the end because she has been listed in the wrong preference category?
