Reviewing the pre-interview checklist (helping someone with their parent's IR5 case)

One item states

"Original or certified copies of birth certificates for all children of the principal applicant"

Would this be required for an IR5 applicant?

No. IR5 does not allow for derivatives

Yes, I know that

My question is regarding the pre-interview checklist - it says

"Original or certified copies of birth certificates for all children of the principal applicant"

Would that be required in this case?

No. I sponsored my Mom. She brought my birth certificate to the Interview. Nobody asked for my brother’s birth certificate.
