what am I facing here

Hi ALL,

I have been trying to get a sense of what I have to gear up for on my case. I've been married with a USC for more than 20 years. We initially filed i-485 in the states but later decided to abandon that. We went home 2013 and thought will stay in the Philippines for good. In 2017, change of heart takes us this immigration process I am in now. BG - 1999 illegal entry through misrepresentation, TNT from 1999-2013. Interviewed June 10, 2019, given 221G for Cenomar + Passport (same stupid reason as others, website said if single bring Cenomar ans obviously I was not single) and inadmissible due to misrepresentation and overstay recommended for I-601 waiver. Sent Cenomar + Passport on June 19, receipt date by USEM June 25, 2019. I-601 approved based on expedite on Aug 8, 2019 USEM receipt date from USCIS Aug 9, 2019. CEAC is AP since Aug 14, in the mail I got a second white slip 221G without any marking for additional document.

Aug 19, 2019	CEAC "Case Last Updated Date" change but status is the same
Aug 31, 2019	CEAC "Case Last Updated Date" change but status is the same
Sep 3, 2019	CEAC "Case Last Updated Date" change but status is the same
Sep 4, 2019	CEAC "Case Last Updated Date" change but status is the same
Sep 6, 2019	CEAC "Case Last Updated Date" change but status is the same
Sep 11, 2019	CEAC "Case Last Updated Date" change but status is the same
Sep 12, 2019	CEAC "Case Last Updated Date" change but status is the same

Sep 14, 2019	Received letter dated Sep 10. Your visa application is refused for Administrative Processing. You will be informed when processing is complete.

Sep 17, 2019	Cong. Napolitano forwarded response by Embassy dated Sep 16, Ms. Pastrana’s case is pending the completion of administrative processing in order to verify her qualifications for this visa.

Sept 17th  response from your congressman tells you the same thing you have known since August 14th ...   your case file is under administrative processing.   The 221g further confirms they are still investigating and your visa application is still in  AP until a decision is made.

 

All you can do for now is check your CEAC status daily and ... Be Patient.

i am counting down to 60 days before i make USEM contact, shall i be counting from Aug 14 when I was AP on CEAC or Sep 10 which is the date on the new white slip mailed to me?

I don't know what you are expecting with contacting the embassy .. nothing will change until they are done with AP

As I have said, on Aug 8, 2019 my I -601 is approved in only 54 days based on expedite. USEM receipt date of I-601 approval from USCIS was Aug 9, 2019.

Just hoping to give them a nudge a bit, I'm afraid that if I don't do that my case will be buried in oblivion.

If you keep trying to nudge then it may not go your way. You are in AP right now so it may take 3 days or 3 months

"Nudging them" isn't going to speed things up .. the process will be done when it is done.     As you noted the date keeps changing which means your case file is being worked on.

 

Patience is what you need right now.

Yes, that is what it is.. I need patience and it is sadly very very hard to come by. I am depressed, having thoughts I shouldn't have. My chest hurts whenever I think about it.
