We expedited my visa under military (non-deployment) and financial loss reasons. You can always try but if the reason is military related they will ask for orders or confirmation of your situation that requires an expedite. They probably won’t expedite just bcs you serve the country.

Also for timeline: after the call and registering your expedite request they usually respond within a week with fax number for additional documents, then up to 30 days for the decision. If approved next is the NVC stage that goes with regular time processing.

Just wanna ask if you guys were able to expedite your k1 visa? My fiance is in the navy, and he will get a new duty station soon, all expedite letters are done and ready to send, do you guys have any idea where to send it via email? california service center. thank you!

Honestly, that was what I thought too until someone told me to give it a shot. The expedite request was accepted, however, I am just waiting on a decision. It wasn't going to hurt anything to try.

hi! just wanna ask if where do you guys sent the expedite letter? we're in the same situation, he will deploy early next yr soon. Do you guys have any idea where and what email address of california service center? thank you! and how many days til you receive the approval for expedite?

You call USCIS and request it. They should (but not always) request information to be faxed to them. They may or may not support sending evidence by email (I heard this was coming but idk if it is a thing or not) as well, but there's no way to request the expedite by email.

Technically a request by mail works, but you'll be waiting weeks at best for them to even see the request.

Timing wise, many times it's a matter of a few business days for a decision to be made. Sometimes it can take weeks still.

We successfully expedited my K1, there is no way to send any documentation via email. First you need to call USCIS asking for expedition and explaining your case. Then after getting your expedite request number is waiting.. After evaluation they might deny it or ask for additional documentation. They will provide fax number for it.
