Update:

I went to a lawyer and they agreed I should at least try to submit the evidence I had. I submitted plain tickets, copy of diploma, copy of Brazilian work authorization, and an affidavit from her mother and grandmother stating that she lived with them for two years. The lawyer said this was more than most people do.

anyway, I submitted the evidence about a week ago and after checking the online status it finally changed, I think it was approved! I don’t know what else this status could mean. Thanks everyone so much for your support !

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: China
Timeline

Well I was a J visa holder and I just got my K1 last month. So my experience might help you a little bit.

As far as I know from Chinese J visa community, the consulate won't issue a k or any immigrant visa until you finish the 2y rule. They'll do the background check and everything to make sure you're qualified. That means your wife might have already accomplished the 2 year residency since she got a visa already. I THINK she'll totally fine. But better consult a lawyer.

Wish you good luck

Lol great seems i'm kinda late here
