USCIS Online Account Number on form I-485 — Petitioner or beneficiary's number?

Hi everybody

I've been hanging out mostly in the K1 forum for the last 7 months, but now that my beneficiary's visa has been issued, I'll be hanging out more in this forum from now on.

I've been studying all the various AOS forms that I will soon be helping prepare for my soon-to-be wife, and they all seem pretty straightforward.

But I do have one question, and it's regarding Part 1 Item 11 on Form I-485: "USCIS Online Account Number (if any)"

So I, the petitioner, do have a USCIS Online Account Number that was created back in February when I filed the initial K1 petition (I-129F).

But Form I-485 is supposed to be filled out in the beneficiary's voice, not the petitioner's.

So my question is:

1) should I fill in my (petitioner) USCIS Online Account Number on the form? Or

2) create a new USCIS Online Account Number in my beneficiary's name? Or

3) leave this Item blank?

Thanks

None is your answer.

So what you're saying is "3) leave this item blank", except instead of [blank], write the letters "N" ,"O", "N"and "E" where one would normally write the first 4 digits of the USCIS Online Account Number?

Correct (kind of).

The instructions for EVERY USCIS form states never to leave anything blank and to answer all questions using N/A for word answers and None for numerical answers where the question does not apply to you. I suggest you thoroughly read the instructions for I485 and every form you are going to file.

As for having to write it exactly in the first 4  boxes of the question, that's going overboard. Just write it.

Don't worry. I read the instructions you're referring to. I'm well aware of the instruction to write N/A or None for all non-applicable answers, and did so on our I-129F and I-134.

My main question was not about whether I should write N/A or None, but whether I should have my beneficiary create her own USCIS Online Account Number, or whether she could share mine.

I take it now that the answer to these questions is "No" and "No". Thanks.
