I’m in the process of bringing my fiancé to the us from the prc. I was wondering what anybody else has done to get the passport sized photos. Have your fiancé mail a picture through the postal service or send a digital photo by email and print it at a photo shop?

As i knew i was going to go thru the process i got these photos when we were together

his country would have a different background color and this was important for immigration and when he renewed his Moroccan passport (BTW wallgreens was able to handle the color difference for the renewal)

i would have her send the photos just to be covered

Covered?  We live in a digital world,  whether the same image is printed in China or at Walgreens it is still the same image

YMMV

Having your fiance(e) email you an image file (providing it meets all the requirements) and printing it on photo paper yourself, at a local store, or via an online service is fine. That's what we did; Anastasia emailed me an image and I had it printed at Walmart.com (since the first few places I looked didn't have an option for passport-style photos and I didn't want to fuss with trying to lay out multiple images on a 4x6 or something like that).
