Husband's residence card card expires Nov 28, 2019. Is it okay to send on August 30?

As long as it is received within the 90 day period, it should be accepted. But even 1 day early will result in a rejection.

The advice to wait at least a few days is wise. You're looking at a 1-2 year wait....a couple days will not make or break anything.

You can also use this early filing calculator to determine your 90-day window.

Based on your date, you’re eligible to file on August 30 BUT wait a day or two just in case because if they receive it even a day early, it will definitely be returned to you.

Besides, we are coming up onto the last long holiday weekend of the summer, Labor Day. You could mail your application this weekend, it will likely just sit in a mailroom somewhere, waiting the next business day.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
