Hi guys !! 

I applied for i130 spousal visa in May 2019 and my service center is Nebraska and now i would like to apply for k3 visa. Is there anyone from Pakistan who has done same and has same sc ?????

It is a futile attempt. K3s are obsolete and they are hardly approved anymore. Only 6 were approved last year (yes, 6). You have a better chance at winning the lottery.

Right now, the Nebraska Service Center is taking over a year to assign a case. We applied Aug. 7, 2018, and haven't heard a word. Good luck!

You got nothing to lose. 

 

Just know the risks that if approved you lose the benefits of the reason of the i-130 petition. 

 

But as others have said k-3 is slim. 

 

Some side effects at Nebraska is that you petition might be looked at and approved faster. 

 

But it won't speed up any additional processing that might happen down the line.

 

If I was in your shoes. I'd go for it because why not get through the process faster

My wife is Pakistani and I have applied for her I-130 and K3. Like others have said, it is very, very unlikely they will grant a K3. However, there is some anecdotal evidence which seems to suggest that the K3 is rejected and I-130 approved at the same time, which may be faster than just filing I-130 alone.

As others have mentioned, there is no extra cost associated with the K3, so there is no harm in trying.

Almost certainly won't get a K-3. There are some rumors of it speeding up the I-130 if it gets in the right hands, although nothing can be confirmed nor if it is intentional or some kind of mistake. 🤷‍♂️
