Hello. After the interview the US embassy called me and asked for tax transcript for my spouse. However we submitted earlier tax return to NVC and was approved. Has anyone had similar situation? Thank you

CO’s assesses the case clearly than NVC and may ask NVC didn’t ask for. So just give them what they asked for. Have your spouse get the transcript from IRS for free and email those to you.

Yes my wife sent it to me. At NVC stage they just approved tax return because it says tax return or transcript. The officer said they dont accept tax return anymore.

Just get the transcripts from the IRS website real quick & take them to the embassy. Wont delay much, one of my friends was told to resubmit her birth certificate on ceac & bring it to them, her passport took 2 weeks overall to be ready & stamped.

good luck!

i had similar experiences at the embassy yesterday. The Consular officer gave me a blue 221g letter advising me to return with original documents of my divorce decree on sunday 2 pm, has anyone had such experience here in Abu Dhabi

Sorry to hear this...In the official requirements, is it written that they require a copy only?

Can you also please share your overall experience for your interview. Thanks a lot in advance.
