I met my fiance on okcupid, a free dating site.

 

Do we have to prove that okcupid is not a marriage broker? Do you have to print out the terms of service?

 

 

I  already check "not met on marriage broker" on the I-129 form. is that more than enough?

For your own sake just do it. Some had RFEs others hadn't. Depends on the person who's reviewing your case.

Yeah if you mention the name of the site it is best to include the TOS from the site to be safe. I always recommend "established a relationship online and met in person on xx/xx/xxxx" no need to mention the site.

We made sure we included the Terms of Services AND Privacy Policy (anything we could find within the platform we met that indicated its purpose is NOT a marriage broker).  Additionally, we wrote a separate letter indicating what the platform is (social, voluntarily, your responsibility of sharing details, etc.) and how the relationship developed to show it was not done through a marriage broker or a pre-agreement of marriage.  Hope that helps!

Where do i include the attachment for terms of service? should it be an additional attachment on the i-129 form? or should i attach it to "how we met" letter?

No.  Do that via the supplement 

 

Your circumstances of meeting should be concise two or three sentences

Last page of the form,  additional information is where you detail the TOS

My husband and I were met thru okcupid also. We were just mentioned it on “how we met”, via online okcupid. No TnC printed, No RFE, and visa interview went smoothly. Goodluck

Yes, need proof.  You need to make a copy of their TOS (Terms of Service) page, include it with your I-129F
