I485 receive date and f1 expire

I just graduate from college in June and thus my I-20 was shortened to reflect my graduation date (June 13th). I knew that I have a 60-day grace period before I need to depart the US, so we decided to send the i485 and i130 in during this time and we overnighted it on Aug 7th via FedEx. FedEx tracking reflected as they were arrived on the 8th and so far I haven’t received NOA1.

My question is, which day does USCIS consider as my filing date? The day it was delivered or the day they issue the first NOA? I’m asking because I’m falling out of status today (Aug 13th) and I want to know if this will affect my application in anyway?

Thanks!

You are good unless they reject the application for some reason. In any case, even if you were to fall out of status, it would not affect the petition.
