Because sometimes complaining just makes you feel better...for a little while.

EAD wait time is now literally off the charts here on VJ.  😭😭😭

I celebrated for a little while that USCIS has changed the processing past due date to mid-March while VJ still had January. But then realized the USCIS can publish whatever they want, it makes them look better but isn't necessarily reality. 

So instead I'll celebrate that we achieved something...the highest EAD wait time in the past year, maybe in history! 🤣

Honestly, if our timeline is an indicator for anything, this still seems a tad bit optimistic; I just got my EAD/AP last Friday, renewal was filed back in Nov 2018 and my old card has been out of validity for several months at this point🙈 Ironically, our interview is next week (finally), so the card won't even matter anymore. But I guess it's good to see that they work on them still, after all🤷😫

 

I hope everyone waiting gets theirs soon!

Yep 195 days waiting here, still get peeved that they say the EAD/AP is supposed to be a  "90 day wait" 

K1 Visa NOA1:  March 2018

K1 Visa NOA2: Sept 2018 

K1 Approved: Nov 2018 (184 days/6 months since NOA1) 

 

Married 4th Jan 2019 

 

AOS NOA1: 4th Feb 2019

Biometrics: 25th Feb 2019

AOS interview: Oct 2019 (261 days from NOA1)

 

EAD/AP NOA1: Feb 2019 

EAD/AP Approved/Rc'd: Aug 2019 (196 days since NOA1)
