Hi Everyone,

I wonder if anyone has traveled back to US from any European country with an expired GC and I797 (12 or 18 month extension letter) recently? Could you share your experiences?

I may need to to to Europe for a business trip in 2 months. MY GC expired last month and I received I797. I know that technically as long as I bring my passport, GC and I797, I should be able to come back to the states. But I wonder how familiar airline staff working on EU-US lines are with I797.

Thank you.
