Is it strange to go from “Refused” to “Ready”?

Hey all, my husband had his interview on July 29th and he said it went well. However, he didn’t have all the documents (which is frustrating because we have a lawyer). We were then given the yellow 221g form with a checklist of documents. Anyhow, we submitted all the missing documents that same day and mailed it in with the passport as instructed. 

 

Naturally, CEAC had his case as “Refused”. Then, the 31st, it was updated but still said “refused”. Now, (August 1st) it says “Ready”. I like the way that looks but I was under the impression that it may say “administrative processing” or something. Anybody have any input?

Looks like the site wasn’t updated through AP ... not an issue .. updating the site correctly .. or sometimes at all !...doesn’t seem a particularly high priority

Thank you for your quick response but I’m having a hard time understanding. Are you saying that it wasn’t updated correctly? Maybe it should’ve said AP?

Not an issue at all.

Ready because you are still under processing.

As soon as they receive your documents it will be updated and it will change to AP.

Pray it doesnt take long as it could take days,weeks or months.
