So you are not living together. It would be wise not to use such terminology if you are only visiting. Especially in any arena that can be heard or read by immigration officials. I know it sounds exciting to say you are living together but it can cause huge problems if you are just visiting. 

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

We got married at the courthouse in Decatur on a Friday afternoon. 

Arrive early ( around 2pmish) because you and your fiance won't be the only people. I'd suggest going during the week might be a little easier.

There were four or five more couples.

And we all got married in the hallway except for one couple. They had family with them so they actually went in a room.

 

Look up the courthouse in Decatur on McDonough St. You can find all the information and a PDF version of the marriage license and certificate for download.

 

ROC Timeline

08/16/19: sent I-751 packet to USCIS Lockbox in Dallas

08/19/19: packet received by USCIS

08/21/19: received text message with case number ( Texas Service Center)

08/23/19: check got chashed

08/26/19: received extension letter in the mail

11/14/19: Biometrics appointment

04/28/20: case got transferred to my local field office in Atlanta

05/28/20: New Card Is Being Produced

05/29/20: New Card Got Approved

06/02/20: We Mailed Your New Card

06/03/20: The Post Office Picked Up Your New Card

06/04/20: Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office

Too few. B2/ESTA adjustments make me sick to my stomach.

To answer OP, age difference isn't an issue. I'm not 100% sure on GA laws, but i'd assume that calling nearest City Hall or Court House will do. All you'll need is beneficiary's passport, and the USC's ID, and a judge to get you two married. That's it!

And one more to the OP, thank you for doing it the right way.

Though it's probably not hard to find a service that can set up and perform a quick very small wedding (complete with officiant) if you can't get an individual couple civil ceremony from wherever you'd get a marriage license from (or even if you can).

No issue. Me and my wife just went to the court house, they asked for my passport and then we got married that friday!
