Name Change required?

Ok, I know name changes are an optional thing anyways, but will this affect the AOS process if my fiancee does not take my name?

It should not affect the AOS process as long as you are consistant with all your forms. Dont go putting her Maiden name on some and your married name on others. Adjusting with her maiden name will mean that all her documentation EAD, GC etc will be in that name and it might be harder to get it changed later if at some point she decided to take your name.

You should be perfectly all right, but the #1 rule is consistency. Keep it the same on all the forms, and when she gets her EAD, AP, and whatnot, it will be the same.

USCIS isn't so draconian they'll frown on someone with their maiden name. They reserve that for their rules and bureaucracy!

Cool, thanks, you just never know. Still deciding on what our name will be anyway. If she gets to change hers I want to change mine too.
