Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone had rough timelines between becoming documentarliy qualified with the NVC and receiving your interview date?

We got the e-mail through from the NVC saying they had received all fees, forms and documents and would be contacting the embassy on the 9th July.

For me it took a little over 2 weeks from receiving DQ e-mail to receiving my interview letter.

Assuming you're from the UK (since this is the UK forum), you can book your medical exam once you have your case number, then book your interview once the medical has been attended, according to the US embassy UK website (but others report being able to book their interview beforehand scheduled for approx 2 weeks after the medical date, with no issues).

NVC or the embassy won't assign you medical or interview dates, you have to book them yourself. You may receive a letter from the embassy to say your documents have been received from NVC, but not everyone receives one and you don't need one.
