No one has mentioned trip insurance. Doesn't that allow you to cancel/make changes for any reason without a charge?

Great question! I'm not sure about that. worth checking into though....

Delta has the Philippine Travel Tax as part of their airfare now. It is listed on my receipt for the flight I just paid for my fiancé.

The travel tax or the airport fee?

The travel tax applies only to FIlipinos but not to all Filipinos (e.g. OFW's [Overseas Foreign Workers] are exempt).  I don't see how Delta could charge this fee without charging those who don't have to pay it.

How much (usually listed in the details for your fare rules) did they charge?.

no, no he's speaking about travel "insurance" thats purchased when you buy an airline ticket giving the ability to change your flights etc....Don't know if it allows for such options to do that.
