Please help me, I submitted my n400 90 days early today 07/06  at 12:30am but uscis website reports that I submitted it yesterday 07/05 at 9:30pm which is 3 hours behind my Texas time and that will make me 91 days early. Should I be worried?

Just to clarify, what is the "residence since" date on your green card?

So I applied a day early too.

I live in the CST, and applied at 9pm the day prior. I freaked out the entire time after stumbling upon Hypnos thread. I ended up messaging a few people from other threads that seemed to have applied a day early too - the results were mixed, but most got approved. Some did not. I got lucky and was approved, this was not brought up in the interview at all.

It seems that it is safer to wait a few days into the 90 day window......a few days won't really make a big difference in processing times.......

There are 2 dates---the ""application received" date and the "priority" date.  I would wait until you get your NOA and take a look at the date on there before you start to worry.

In the interim, read Hypno's thread posted above.

It seems to be something with the way the online system is set up in general, I think....I applied online at around 7pm EST...a good 10+ years after being eligible, and my priority date was still backdated by 24 hours.

To update you all, the system has updated my submission date from 07/05/2019 to 07/06/2019 which is today. I sent out an email to their technical team, and although they have not replied back to me, they have corrected the SUBMISSION DATE as you can see in the picture attachment. I am hoping this solves the problem

  • 3 weeks later...

I have the exact same date of filing as you, but I did file the day before not because I was in a rush, but because I was stupidly thinking of 3 months, not 90 days!, I have my NOA with the date of July 5th but on the website it shows July 6th just like yours.  I wrote an email trough the website to ask for help, since I don't want to get denied, I rather file again now if needed.  I am just wondering if their website said it was received on July 6th, that is what counts? I am freaking out after reading all the experiences of people filing before the 90 days :(

Don't mean to be a Debbie Downer, but you should wait for the actual Receipt Notice before you relax.

I had the very same problem (filed shortly after midnight on the day my window opened). Even though the submission date on the website was correct, the Receipt Notice "Priority Date" was the day prior. My application was flagged for review for denial for early filing and the issue came up at interview, but I came prepared with evidence of filing date as described in Hypnos' thread (linked above). Ultimately, though, my application was approved. Good luck!

It's a good idea to wait for the hardcopy of the Receipt Notice, as said above.

Mine was the same issue as @afrocraft...the submission date did not reflect the priority date (which was set the day before I actually submitted the application).  Luckily I had no issues, as I did my N400 years after I became eligible for it.

Hey guys, my N400 interview was October 09 and I was approved. The IO very well said that my submission date was one day early but I told him it was their system glitch because I submitted it on July 06 but at 2am but their system said I submitted on July 05 which would have been 91 days early. However the IO was not bothered about that. I got approved and I am waiting for my oath ceremony
