Hello, my fiance is worried her sebaceous cysts will be an issue for the medical exam. I know things like contagious diseases or physical/mental disorders will most likely disqualify you. But what about sebaceous cysts? Thanks.

Not going to be an issue

YMMV

How are you sure about this?

Because, as you rightly said on your first post, the medical is looking for things that are a matter of public health concerns. She will be xrayed for TB shadows on the lungs, have urine tests to check for certain STDs, and will have to provide proof of vaccinations against certain major diseases. They will also look at mental health issues, if there have been any incidents of mental health problems in her history. And they will ask if she has had any involvement in substance abuse.

The medical is not about denying people based on weight, disability, personal choices such as previous abortions, cosmetic procedures, eyesight, or anything else in the medical history that does not fall in to the short list of things they are concerned about.
