Cr1 Interview question regarding appointment letter

Did anyone attend their interview without the letter or email you received from the Consular Section. And just with the email that says you successfully booked your interview.

Because I was able to go ahead and book my interview without an email or letter from the embassy or NVC. My status still says in transit. It got expedited to London. I've rang and spoke to someone who does appointments and he says it's booked. And I even got a reply from the question form to attend my appointment as scheduled. I'm just still worried that they will tell me it's invalided because I haven't got a letter or email from the embassy instructing me to book my interview. I'm so close to finishing this process now. I just don't want anything to go wrong.

May I ask what were the circumstances that got you expedited?

Medical reasons in pregnancy
