Overstay prior K1

 Hey Guys!
I was wondering what is the possibility to be denied a K1visa because a prior overstay in the USA. My fiance was in the US almost 17 years ago and he overstayed here for more than 180  days. We met 2 years ago and I submitted a I-129F to USCIS and we got the approval however we are concern about the overstay years ago. Please, if somebody has any experience or information I ask to share it to see what  we can do for.

Since the overstay was 17 years ago, it wont impact your k1.

When did he exit the US?

Did he over stay a year or longer?

He left on Dic 2006 and I overstayed more than a year... could it happen something in the interview?

There was a 10 year bar as of Dec. 2006, which has since expired. So it's not an issue for the K-1 visa.
