Hi everyone, we are prepping for Removal of Conditions since the 90 day mark will be July 7th. I have two years of joint tax returns I can file with the evidence, but am wondering if I have to send the whole document? Our tax returns for 2017 and 2018 are like 15 pages long each- am I just supposed to make copies of the whole thing, or will just part of it do? Thanks!

I'm such a minimalist that I only included the first page of the 1040s with both our names highlighted. I figured it wasn't about support nitty gritty income details, but the JOINT factor.

However, the current version of instructions says --

"complete joint Federal and State tax returns" which would include all the pages PLUS W2s.

You could use transcripts which are somewhat condensed and don't require W2s.

I can't even find any 1040s in our return. I have the transcripts, which is what I submitted for AOS and that seemed to be okay. Just not sure how through to be.

Send the transcripts.  Much safer and easier than trying to send complete tax returns.

Good Luck!

In fact, they're even stronger evidence since it shows the IRS actually received and processed that particular return.

Only the transcripts. The transcripts contain all the information submitted on the 1040 as well as information from W-2's.  No need to send anything other than the transcript.

No W2. Transcripts are stand alone documents and need nothing with them.
