Hi Everyone,

I am a beneficiary of a petition currently ongoing at NVC. A while ago, the Petitioner paid the IV fee and completed the DS-260. The Civil Documents have also been uploaded. The problem is that, the Petitioner on several occasions tried to pay the AOS fee but unable to pay. I like to find out from you what is the possible cause and how do we solve this problem.

Thank you

Unable to pay as in the petitioner did not have money, or his credit card was denied?  Please provide more details as to why or how you were unable to pay.

The petitioner has money and his credit card was not denied either. The issue is that, the transaction does not go through at all. As earlier stated, it is not an issue of credit card denial or not enough funds because the petitioner was able to successfully pay the Visa fee and subsequently complete the DS-260. The transaction does not go through at the end of the day. I am tempted to believe that, maybe we need to wait for a notification from NVC before we make payment or there's something the petitioner is not doing right.

Thank you.

The aos fee is paid after entering the country and getting married.you are missing a couple of steps and a ton of paperwork. I dont think uscis can accept a fee without the application
