Case completed on April 5th: Doubt

Hello,

 

On April 5, I received an email from the nvc that said: Documentally qualified. We will work with the embassy for your interview.

 

Yesterday, May 12, I looked at CEA and I saw that they had added a new line that said: Missing.

 

It was the marriage certificate. I had already sent it and it had been accepted. I Upload it again and now it appears as sumitted.

 

The strange thing is that they didn't send me any notification by email.

 

It is normal that if thease it is completed, and I am waiting for the appointment of the interview, they ask me to upload documents that they already have?

well, same thing happened to me, exactly t the same thing... I've got that same email saying that they will work with the embassy , and yesterday I've log in onto the CEAC, and the marriage certificate was saying missing, lol, funny, I told my lawyer and he submitted again.... still waiting ... it might be a error on the uploading, but the big issue here is the fact that we didn't receive an email notifing , and if we didn't check, the case will be stuck there! Hopefully it clears today .... i'll keep an eye on mine! good luck

Hello,
I've seen several comments about this in other forums. There are many people who have experienced the same thing.

According to some people in the forum, they comment that the CEA website was doing maintenance at the end of the week and messages were generated
even in completed cases like in my case.

No need to worry!
