K1, excellent guides on here.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Is your friend currently outside the USA?  If yes, she cannot file within the USA, as that is visa fraud.

If she’s outside the USA, her USC fiancé can file a K1 petition.  As mentioned above, read the guide - it’s very helpful.

So she’s here already? She can marry and adjust. If she’s not here yet, she can come here, marry and return home to wait for her CR-1 process to be completed.

Your friend  and her husband need to work together to understand the process and complete the application. If she is here having overstayed a visitor visa then she is out of legal status .. that is not a wise or safe place to be

This is important process and your friend should create an account and ask herself. I don't understand how can people do this - letting others take care of their issues.

Tell her to either use USCIS website or Guides section here on VJ.

Quite frankly it’s not your job to file their papers. They worked out what they needed to get married, they can work out what they need to adjust her status. For example, they can visit VJ and read the guides. If they really need assistance with all this, there are professionals you can pay to take care of it.

I am always amazed at how many people ask their “friends” who have no knowledge of the process what they need to do. I wouldn’t ask a friend to replace my windshield wipers unless they knew that they were doing. So why anyone would ask a friend about something as serious as immigration is beyond me.

Let me make one thing clear. She ask because of her our personal reason which I'm not about to shame her on this platform. And if you had a good friend you could as as well. She also ask cause I went through the process on my own without help and she thought it would have been the same process for her which it's clearly not. I treat people the way I want to be treated seeking help. I gave her the site and the link to this feed, and I thought this platform was to help which it's clearly not.

Maybe if you did not give conflicting info on whether your 'friend' is currently married, you would get more helpful advice here.
