I wonder why us consulate included this as one of the reasons to expedite “    Short notice of position relocation: A U.S. Citizen petitioner, living and working abroad, who receives job relocation within the same company or subsidiary to the United States, or an offer of a new job in the United States with very little notice (employment letter is required)”

Job offer may be reason for expediting request, however, acceptance of request is not guaranteed. 

 

 I saw one VJ member said her expedite request for her husband got approved and her reason:  so her husband could attend his daughter's birthday party.  You will not know until you do it.

Everyone wants his/her case to be expedited...but the harsh truth is that the immigration process DEMANDS a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience, and money.......good luck.

If expedites were easy, everyone would expedite, and then there would be no need for expedite at all. Hence why it is relatively difficult to get.

I am a If in doubt Expedite. sort of person, but you need a move date, sometime in the future is unlikely to hack it.

I’ll have a date when I’ll be transferring to US office. My employer said that I’ll be transferring soon and they will give me a notice to move to US 1 months before the move.

The USCIS Mexico City Field Office has jurisdiction for Canada. That Field Office Director is the one that gives the authorization (see page 3 of the 2nd link for the full process).

People have tried and I believe successfully done DCF through Mexico for short notice job offers.  

You'd lose time if you try and are denied but you can try.
