K1 Visa with forgotten paperwork

Hi,

 

I'm from sydney australia and my partner lives here with me hes from texas but hes in sydney under a work visa, We filled out a k1 visa ( we already have his office draft up paperwork saying once approved he will have work in the USA ) 

But the day we sent our form he partner forgot to send everything else!! and the day he sent it we went overseas for 2 weeks came back and saw a big folder that he forgot to send! he forgot all the photos and letters our lease agreement everything! 

Just wondering what we do now? They cashed the money and sent us something confirming they received it but do we wait till they ask us for more info? which could take 6 months! so what do we do ? It's clear this delays us even more but will it now take a year and half or less? 

I've not seen any forums on this yet,

Any advise would be AMAZING! 

Also curious to know what the chances are to getting denied?

So you only send the I-129F, nothing else? In that case you could get an RFE, but it's more likely you'll get a denial, what's not a huge deal. You just have to file and pay again.

But when,  3 to 4 months from now?

 

Zero chance of an RFE

Yes that my main question I know it'll get denied he only sent a letter the form and 4 photos he forgot to send the entire binder of everything, I have read somewhere it can take up to 6 months to get rejected and re submit but I just wanted to clarify.

This letter has worked for others to correct errors or for missing documentation or errors that you would like to update, correct or add concerning your I-129f.

to echo what Greenbaum posted, I also forgot something and I sent it to the address he just listed, the complication was that I sent it the day it got approved so I also had to send it to the NVC to try and get it all married together. apparently somewhere it did and we didnt have any problems. since you are still early enough in the process, there is a chance (nothing is guaranteed of course 😉) that you can send it and get it added to your current packet and hopefully it will not cause any headaches

Even if your case is at NVC, as yours was, the evidence is scanned and added to your electronic files which is what anyone would access during any process that you are.
