Hi Guys,

My sister is a US Citizen who petition our Dad. Now that they are asking for us to pay the necessary fees. I am just wondering what documents does she need to submit along with the application. It is somehow complicated. She is married but we will not ask her husband to be part of the affidavit of support, however, her income didn't qualify to support my dad although my dad's brother is willing to be a joint sponsor. My questions are, is it possible to do that? and what are the documents my Uncle needs to submit?

Thank you

As long as a joint sponsor is a USC/LPR and meets the income threshold for all household members plus the beneficiary.
