Considering there are no slaves or slave owners in the US today who is going to pay the reparations and who is going to be paid? I see this going about as far as the green new deal. Have the left lost their minds?

I believe most all Democrat candidates have said they would sign a bill for reparations.

 

Got to wonder how that is going to work.  Will all blacks get a pay out?  And their children, and all others into the future?

Years ago, it was determined that we are all descended from one early human, "Lucy," who lived in the Olduvai Gorge in Africa.

 

There is also the "one-drop" theory, stating that if we have one drop of blood of a particular race, we qualify as a member of that race.

 

Accordingly, we are all African-American and therefore all qualify for reparations.  Bring on our "Dead Presidents," Spartacus!

That is really the issue now isn't it, the Black Vote?  The minority unemployment rate is at its lowest in recent history, and these Dems (how many are there now?) see Trump getting some support from those circles and since many of the major Democrat candidates are all about socialism, this pretty much falls in line.

Does beg the question as on what basis you qualify, will it be like Elizabeth Warren and you need a DNA test? Will it be a lump sum, an annual payment, what?
