The questions each applicant is required  to complete will vary as the form is designed to change depending on the applicants responses to certain questions.. type of visa , age, country of residence  etc all impact what is asked.

I would go back and recheck........Past employment and education history are standard DS-260 questions.

Those (basic) questions are standard for all applicants age 14 and higher. Additional details are requested based on certain responses to those questions.

There should have been previous address and employment and education level on there for the DS-260 for the beneficiary (which I am guessing is you). It would not have let you submit without filling it in and it's auto-populated for what they want you to fill out based on your petition type. You can go back into CEAC and view your responses. Like said above, maybe the birth year was keyed in wrong, you can go back and look on CEAC.

There is definitely a whole section for employment and education. If you submitted already, try calling NVC monday. Don;t think you submitted a completed form anyway it will probably be rejected.
