Ok Long story short and if there is already a thread please let me know. Ok I’m from US my husband is from Jamaica. We are in the NVC process. We have a case number, paid both fees and they already show as paid. So what’s next? I tried reading the time line but I’m confused on all these different forms. I don’t wanna mess up bc it’s already been a long time to get to this point. Can someone please help or point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance

Your next step should be submitting the (AOS) Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence that they are requesting.  Once the bill is paid, you should have access to this next phase.

You will have to fill out DS-260 form online. Instructions will be sent to your email about the next steps. You will then upload or submit AOS and civil documents as applicable.

There is no longer the DS-261 form so ignore that.  The DS-260 form is the actual visa application.

When you log in to CEAC you will see the option "Start Now" probably right next to paid. I don't remember exactly. Been a while that I filled out mine. But when you click on start now you will be directed to the DS 260 form.

You can view a sample of the form on their official website.

The DS-260 form is electronic on your account.  it says IV Application and when you click on it you see the form is DS-260.

this is the most helpful information that I located when we were going through the BVC stage for IR  visas. It’s the official government website so up to date.  I found it  helpful to go all the way through each page , looking at every link etc . first. That gave me a good overview and I then used each individual step as we got to it

Relax and take many breaths.  We all know what it feels like to be going through this.  I'm nearing the final stage and I'm coming undone some days!! Make sure you triple check everything sent so that you won't have to resubmit documents.  And many blessings! I don't believe in luck but I know we will be blessed through this process.  :)
