Woke up to several text messages this morning with case numbers. So relieved to finally be in the queue. We sent our package on 4/12 via usps and it was it wasn’t picked up from the lockbox until 4/16. Does anyone know the average wait between the NOA1’s and the biometric appointment?

I've been wondering about this too. Looking at the Jan-Mar 2019 filers it's around 3-4 weeks.

Assuming you're adjusting from a K-1 (and if you're not, this is not the right forum; the forum for non-K1/K3 AOS is here: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/130-adjustment-of-status-from-work-student-amp-tourist-visas/ and K3s basically aren't issued anymore ), have married, and are not recently widowed or divorced and filing through some more obscure provisions ...

A number is on your NOA2 from your petition

current immigration status - we put 'K1 visa'; different guides will give different answers as to what to put there as there's not really a name for the status you're in post-K1/pre-AOS; don't worry too much about this.

class of admission - we put 'fiancee visa', but it's the same deal as above

receipt # of underlying petition and date - your I-129F case # (probably starts with WAC) and the date is the 'received date'

current marital status - married

Thanks a lot but I need more help on the travel document

*which application type should I tick

*part 5 should I tick any of the two boxes

*Do I answer the advance parole on part 7

Thanks waiting for the feed back

Your I485 progress should change to Ready To Schedule for Interview. Not right away but it will probably take a few weeks.

No; the header for part 5 says "Complete Only if Applying for a Re-entry Permit". You're not.

Yes; that's what you're doing. However, you only need to answer question 1 (check 'More than one trip' since you really don't know how long it will take for AOS to process or what your plans will be by then), since you're not outside the US, and won't be having the document delivered to an overseas office.

Thanks for replying so fast.  I am at work and have a bit of a lag in responding to @Olisant questions.  But yes, the answersare spot on.  He has not said anything that I would contradict.

We are all here to help each other.  I see no issues in asking.  Someone has the answers.
