 @John04

Did you doble check that the credit card form was properly filed? I pay like that as well.

My experience was :

NOV27-SENT

NOV30-RECEIVED

DEC04-TOOK THE MONEY FROM MY ACCT

DEC06-TEXT MESSAGE WITH RECEIPT#

DEC19-HARD COPY OF NOA1

You said that they received your application on the third of April that’s almost 2 weeks. If this following week nothing happens you should call them. Maybe something was wrong in the forms or maybe they are bit delay. Based on my experience they took the money in 3 workings days. Maybe @Greenbaum or @Sarge2155 have more insight on this.

I did the credit card. But they have not charged card yet.

My petition was received on the 3rd and my check was cashed on the 9th. I included the electronic notification form with my petition and I have yet to receive any confirmation of my case. I received the hard copy of NOA on Friday (4/12).  Call them if you don’t receive anything 14-16 days from filing.

Check and credit cards are handled differently with cc taking longer. Your comparing check processing vs charge card processing.

It could be based on the time frame on the mail, because the just use snail mail and hawaii is a bit far. Same happens to people in Puerto Rico. The mail might have delays based on that.  But if they got your petition they will treat like everybody else. Don’t worry.

All emails from USICS is a game. Sometime they send and sometimes they don't. Can't tell you why but that is the way it is.
